As March 2021 drew closer, we knew that it wasn’t possible to have the celebration we always dreamed of. COVID 2, us 0. As vaccines started rolling out, we finally got our marriage license and made things official in Sea Girt on March 21, 2021. After a year and a half of planning, we were a week away from the big day when the global pandemic shut everything down. We couldn’t even get a marriage license since City Hall had closed.
